I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and getting out and about as much as possible. Swiss Alpine Adventure has been pretty active in the past weeks with After Work MTB rides, Sunset Sailing and Windsurfing all finding a place on the calendar and we are just back from a great MTB weekend in Engadin.

Swiss Alpine Adventure - Activities

The rest of the summer is shaping up quite nicely too and we’ve got some great activities for those of you who enjoy hiking and getting up to cooler altitudes during the hotter days.

Our Introduction to Mountaineering Event is perfect if you would like to experience what it’s like to climb some easier mountains above the snow and ice line. You will learn how to walk on Crampons and ropes over glacial terrain and attempt an easy 4000m mountain if the weather allows. Definitely an adventure you should not miss.

Allalain Horn - 1st 4000er

Our Glacier Trek to the Monte Rosa Hut is almost a Swiss cliché this year. What could be more Swiss than waking up in an Alpine hut on the Swiss National Holiday? This year on our Monte Rosa trek, you will wake up in the Monte Rosa Hut surrounded by Switzerland’s highest mountains on the 1st of August for Swiss National Day. After breakfast, you will then spend the day hiking over the glacier and amongst the surrounding mountains almost directly in front of the Matterhorn before returning to Zermatt. It doesn’t get much more Swiss than this for Switzerland’s National Holiday.

We are adding more events regularly so remember to check the website to keep up to date with what is going on.
