Event Type

For many years we’ve been picking our favourite locations and bringing our guides with us to keep us safe and search out the best and safest options for us on a particular day… Now it’s time to turn things around and we will go to visit the guides.

Luca our Ticinese guide is at home around the Airolo and Bedretto area. This corner of Switzerland has some amazing ski touring and freeriding and what better way to discover it than with a local guide. Luca will be on hand for three days to guide us around his home spots and give us the benefit of a lifetimes experience in and around the Airolo area. A possible programme could be a day of touring in Bedretto a day of Freeriding in Airolo or a Freetour day in one of the smaller ski areas around the area… Or any combination of these.

The plan will be to meet Luca on Friday morning and go for a warm-up ski on Friday. After overnighting in the region you will be given a meeting place for Saturday morning where Luca will meet you and take you on another day of adventure in his back yard… If you still have energy after a good nights sleep Sunday will be another day of exploring Lucas home region.

Who is this weekend for?
Anyone who is comfortable skiing or snowboarding in an off-piste environment. You will need to be fit enough to do some altitude gain under your own power on each of the days. (Snowshoes or touring skis and skins). It is your responsibility to accurately assess your own ability before the weekend.

The event will be run according to Covid Guidelines in a small group of 4 people.
