Our SUP Safety Workshop will provide you with all the information and skills you need to paddle more safely on Swiss Lakes.
While Stand Up Paddle is easy and has very little barrier to entry, there are inherent risks related to the sport. In this course, we will help you identify what the risks associated with SUP are and how you can best mitigate them.
Who is this for?
If you have just started SUP or are thinking about purchasing your own board then this workshop will give you some valuable background needed to consider where is safe to go on the water this summer, what safety aspects you should look out for and what dangers you should avoid.
We will also look at improving your paddling technique and providing you with information regarding the legal aspects of SUP in Switzerland and give you advice on what equipment would suit you best and why. You will also have the chance to try out some new SUP’s from STX and SMIK while participating in the course.
If you would like to just give SUP a go and have not tried it yet then check out our SUP Taster Session.
