We (Anna & Peter) would love to share a couple of our favourite local trails in a one-day Mountainbike adventure.

We start in Davos Platz at 11 am and we plan to ride in the Jakobshorn + Rinerhorn area. It depends a bit on weather & conditions and your preference, but we’re looking into doing parts of the Alp Epics & one or two other awesome trails.

We’re generally looking to use the gondola (so you’ll need a ticket for that), but there will still be some uphill involved, probably a few 100m overall.

Important to know:
To join us, you need to be comfortable biking on S2 trails with an occasional S3 passage. We are not official MTB guides, so please be aware you need to be able to look after yourselves and your safety. AND we’re happy to help and tell you all we know about mountain biking our home trails, of course.

Who is this for?
Intermediate-level mountain bikers who prefer downhill over uphill and are looking for some flowy alpine trail fun along with nice convos & connection.

Meeting Point:
Davos Platz in front of the Jakobshorn Gondola station right next to the railway station.

Getting there:
From Zurich HB, take the IC3 at 08:38 from platform 8 (please check the platform in advance). You will arrive in Davos Platz at 10:57. Don’t forget to make a bike reservation in advance!

Cost:
You will need a day ticket for the gondola rides. We can help you to get a ticket once you arrive, or you can book in advance on www.davosklostersmountains.ch for 55.- total.

Hi! I moved to Davos a couple years ago because I LOVE all sorts of Alpine sports. I also love conversations & getting to know people and this seems like the perfect place 💖

Hi! If nobody else joins and two of you are available on Friday too (weather looks little better), let me know 🙂

I think there’s Andrei, too, though, or do you know each other?
Apart from that, I may be able to arrange Friday, need to talk to Peter because I’ve got an appointment @4.30pm and shuffle another earlier on, but it doesn’t seem entirely impossible 🙂
